If I had a dollar for everytime I watched The Office, I wouldn't have any money, but you might be able to score $1000 by doing just that.

The Office has been around for 15 years this March. To celebrate its anniversary, Dish is looking to pay one Office-fanatic to watch 15 hours of  The Office for $1,000. Talk about a dream job.

So here's the deal. The person who is selected will have 9 days to watch 15 hours of The Office (roughly 45 episodes). That's not too hard (insert Michael Scott saying "that's what she said" here).

If you are selected, you will need to complete a checklist identifying common tropes from the show. Dish elaborates by saying:

For instance, how many times does Stanley roll his eyes at the camera? How often does Phyllis talk about Bob Vance from Vance Refrigeration? The goal is to help us understand how often sitcoms repeat popular tropes. We’ll provide you with general guidelines to track your experience, but in true Kelly Kapoor fashion, we also want you to share your unfiltered opinions and reactions on social media.

Think Meredith is a little predictable? Wish Toby had more lines? Let’s hear it!

What are the benefits of this job...other than getting to watch The Office? If you read the title of this blog, you'd know that you would get $1000, but you will also get a "winner's kit" with The Office swag (which may or may not include a Dundie, “World’s Best Boss” mug, Jell-O, and a stapler), and a Netflix gift card.

Think you're up for the challenge? Surely you won't fail at this like the time the office learned CPR.

All you have to do is apply by Monday, March 16. You just have to fill out an online application. You can also post a video submission that could possibly boost your chances. It should be noted that you have to be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen to get the job. Ready to apply? You can apply here.
