What Does the Future Hold for This Former Southern Indiana Gym?
The former Bob's Gym location on Evansville's Eastside recently sold, and now we can speculate what might move into the space.
Why Did Bob's Gym Close the Bentee Wes Court Location?
After around 31 years as Bob's Gym, the fitness center rebranded to BFit by Bob's: Gym + Fitness in 2022. A new-modern location serving Evansville's Eastside opened at the end of December. The gym that was kind of tucked away near Sam's Club was listed for sale in November at the price of $1,750,000.

345 Bentee Wes Court has a New Owner
F.C. Tucker Commercial shared on social media that the property sold for $1,500,000 and closed on March 24, 2023. This is a really big building that could be used for so many different businesses.
The 1st Floor features multiple private offices, a spacious room for kids area or conference rooms, and a sweeping reception area. The large open area currently used for a weight room could be converted to expansive cubical space or additional offices
What Could it be Now?
I can tell you that it cannot be a fitness center, and that makes perfect sense.
The Seller will be putting a deed restriction for fitness centers in place at the time of the sale.
Evansville 411 News shared some additional information on what the building might be used for.
According to sources, the building is slated to be converted into a new indoor playground.
But would an indoor playground kind of qualify as a fitness center? I guess we will wait and see!
