Evansville Police in Search of Scrap Metal Thieves [PHOTOS]

Investigators with the Evansville Police Department are asking for your assistance in locating and identifying two men caught on surveillance camera stealing scrap metal from a business on Evansville's east side.

According to a post accompanying the photos the Department shared on Facebook, the theft took place in the "overnight hours of January 10th-11th , 2019" at "a business in the 4900 block of Oak Grove Road" which is near the intersection of Oak Grove and Green River Road. While it is difficult to make out facial features of either man, the EPD also included a photo of the vehicle they used showing a sheet of plastic covering one passenger side window, and a missing hubcap on the rear passenger side tire.
