One of my favorite times of the year is the start of Otters baseball at historic Bosse Field, and one of my least favorite times of the year is the end of the season. Time is running out to see our Evansvile Otters, but they will be home this weekend against the Washington Wild Things at 6:35pm Friday and Saturday and 5:05pm on Sunday. Saturday night is Breast Cancer Awareness night and the Otters will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. There will also be a post-game fireworks show, which is always great for the whole family.

There is a new souvenir available at the games that you will want to buy and frame for your home.....an aerial photograph of historic Bosse Field taken during a game, from straight away center field looking directly at home plate. This special limited edition photo will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bosse Field in 2015 and will be sold into next season. Lisa and I bought one and had it framed....$30 well spent if you ask me.

Otters baseball is the single best family value in Evansville and makes for a great night out with the family. The Otters will close out the 2014 home season with a five game homestand August 27-31. Just eight games left and I sure hope to see you and your family at Bosse Field.
