Evansville Hoses Hockey Hosting Benefit Game for 3 of Their Own
The Evansville Hoses Hockey team invites you to night of hockey at Swonder Ice Arena to help support the families of three of their own on Saturday, April 6th.
The team will be taking on the Nashville Fire Hockey team at Swonder Ice Arena to raise money for the families of fallen Evansville Department firefighters Robert Doerr and Jim Pauli as well as McCutchanville firefighter, Austin Smith who is currently battling leukemia.
Robert Doerr was shot and killed outside his home on Evansville's north side in late February, while Pauli died unexpectedly during a medical emergency in early February. The search for a suspect in Doerr's murder is still ongoing.
Tickets for the game are $5.00 each and will be available at the door of Swonder. A raffle will also be held to help raise additional funds.
