Evansville Area McDonald’s Locations Taking Nominations for Outstanding Educator Awards
I think it's impossible for us to over-recognize the amazing teachers in our communities. Our teachers need all the love we can give them, so whenever there is a chance to do that, I'm gonna tell you about it. While I'm sure teachers appreciate hearing and reading kind words and getting that kind of support, it never ever hurts to give them something a little more tangible - like cash - and several Evansville area McDonald's owners going to do just that...again.
Locally-owned McDonald's restaurants will once again celebrate teachers in our area with the 3rd annual McDonald's Outstanding Educator Awards. But before they can hand out those awards, they need teacher nominations - that's where YOU come in. Do you know any outstanding teachers in grades K-12? An educator who exhibits the ultimate dedication to their students? Someone who goes the extra mile to contribute to the improvement of education? Those are the kind of teachers we're looking for.
The nomination period is happening now through September 16th - nominate a teacher here, or scan the QR code below.
Two tiers of prizes will be awarded to outstanding educators in local communities:
50 Outstanding Educators will each receive:
- $100 to use toward their classroom
- Best Teacher Ever coffee mug
- Outstanding Educator Certificate
- McDonald’s vouchers to “teach it forward” to parents with outstanding students throughout the year
5 Outstanding Educators will each receive:
- $1,000 to use toward their classroom
- Best Teacher Ever coffee mug

- McDonald’s vouchers to “teach it forward” to parents with outstanding students throughout the year
Since launching this award program in 2020, locally-owned McDonald’s restaurants have given more than $25,000 in cash and prizes to 130 educators across local communities.
