Elena Myers Is First Female To Win at Daytona [VIDEOS]

You know how much I enjoy sharing stories of AWESOME women!!! Well, this female, the first to win a cup at the Daytona International Speedway, is more than just a pretty face.

Elena Myers, 18, won the Daytona 200′s SuperSport class last weekend. The win makes her the FIRST woman to win anything on the hallowed Daytona International Speedway in its 50-plus year history. 

She's been riding bikes since she was 8 and won her first race after she turned 11. She turned pro at 16 and ran in her first professional race in 2010 at Daytona.

Congratulations to her!! It's hard trying to be a champion in a male dominated profession. I should know!! ;-)
