If you have some old electronic devices just taking up space at your house, you might want to get those together for one of the electronic recycling days coming up this week. The Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District will sponsor Electronics Recycling Days on September 20, 21, and 22.

Folks who live in Vanderburgh County can bring in old computers, monitors, televisions, and other related electronic equipment that they would like to get rid of. You will be able to drop those items off at C&I Electronics at 1700 N. Lafayette in Evansville during these times:

  • Thursday, September 20th 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Friday, September 21st 10 a.m. - 4 p.m
  • Saturday, September 22nd 8 a.m. – noon

It should be noted that there are a few exceptions as to what will be accepted. According to Eyewitness News, microwaves, copiers, appliances, as well as items from businesses will not be accepted on these electronic recycling days.
