Do We or Don’t We..Take a Walk In The Dark

Since the time change earlier this month, it seems our routine walks are getting slimmer, instead of us!  It’s been getting dark shortly before 5 pm, the temperatures are getting colder and both my husband and I are not too excited about getting outside for some exercise.  

It took all our energy just to get out last night for a walk, literally in the dark.  The temperature was around 43 degrees.  We both put on our favorite football jackets -The Colts! which is mine and Mike wore his Kansas City Chiefs coat and we headed out.

During our walk, we stopped to chat with one of our neighbors who told us he is also a Chiefs fan. I was a bit surprised.  Two Chiefs fans in our neighborhood!  I’ll try and not hold that against him…lol.  We also met up with our buddy, Pete the Cat who followed us on our walk as he usually does. After our walk was over, we both agreed, it wasn’t so bad!  Still miss the long sunny days, though. But, overall, last night was quite nice with almost a full moon!
