Deaconess Clinics to Reduce Office Visits
Starting tomorrow, Deaconess Clinics in the Evansville and surrounding areas will be limiting office visits. Providers will decide if a patient's benefit of seeing their physician outweighs the COVID-19 risk. All in-office appointments that can be rescheduled will be postponed after April 10. Patients will contacted by their provider about rescheduling.
“It is our objective to protect patients and healthcare workers, reduce the demand on critical supplies and staffing, and do our part to help control the spread of COVID-19 in our community,” said Dr. Allen White, Chief Medical Officer, Deaconess Clinic.
You can also contact Deaconess via their 24 triage hotline or video chat for free.
