An incredibly popular Nashville, Tennessee food truck that's loaded up with delicious lobster from the state of Maine is headed to the Commonwealth of Kentucky! The Cousins Maine Lobster truck is rolling back into Owensboro early next month.

There are two potential reasons that this particular food truck may sound familiar to you. In May of this year, Cousins Maine Lobster set up shop in the Greystone Subdivision here in Owensboro. That could be why it sounds familiar.

Chances are, however, that Shark Tank is the reason.  The masterminds behind the company were on Shark Tank years ago. They appeared on Season 4 to make their pitch to the sharks.

As you may remember, Barbara Corcoran snagged that deal and the rest is Shark Tank history. Cousins Maine Lobster is a massive (and delicious) success story.

Today, there are Cousins Maine Lobster food trucks in over half the states in the country. While we don't have one yet here in Kentucky (or Indiana, for that matter), we do have a truck in Nashville that makes its way north occasionally.

It will do so again on Sunday, September 3rd.

From 11am to 7pm that day, Cousins Maine Lobster will be at Integrated Therapy Solutions at 4333 Springhill Drive here in Owensboro.

While the truck serves Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder, the highlight of the truck is undoubtedly its Maine Roll, which features Maine lobster served chilled with mayo on a New England roll, with a lemon wedge.

Having lived in Maine for a summer while I was in undergraduate school, I can vouch for a Maine Lobster Roll. They're absolutely delicious and Cousins Maine Lobster's are legendary.
