Country Whuppin’ – Little Big Town Vs. Florida-Georgia Line
On Thursday, two new contenders took to the ring for the Country Whuppin'. It was Little Big Town's "Pontoon" that floated away with an 85% victory. On today's Country Whuppin' brought to you by Cleaver's Prime Sandwiches and Salads, LBT takes on FGL. That's new duo, Florida-Georgia Line and their debut single, "Cruise."
Champion - Little Big Town "Pontoon"
The foursome known as Little Big Town have been putting out music since the early 2000's, and have since been widely recognized as the band with some of the best harmonies in the business. With songs like "Boondocks" and "Little White Church," they bring a unique sound to country. They continue that with their latest single, "Pontoon."
Challenger - Florida-Georgia Line "Cruise"
As you might imagine, this duo has roots in Georgia and Florida. Georgia’s Tyler Hubbard and Florida’s Brian Kelley got to know each other while attending Nashville's Belmont University. Now that they are signed to Big Loud Mountain Records, they are trying their hand with their first single, a potential summertime anthem called "Cruise."
