French Lick Resort Rolls Out Red Carpet To Celebrate Coach Cignetti
French Lick Resort Says Come On Down, Coach!
The Indiana Hoosiers are National Champions, something football fans never believed they would say. Generally, with winning comes reward, and that appears to be the case for Coach Cignetti and the Hoosiers. French Lick Resort has rolled out the red carpet for the historic season, inviting Coach Cignetti to come relax and bask in his glory at their five-star facilities. Here's the open letter they published on Facebook to him:
"Hey Coach Cignetti,We’ve got an open invitation that will finally get a smile out of you….
You’re no stranger to making history — after all, you led the Hoosiers to their first-ever football national championship. And around here, we’ve built our own legacy of relaxation and Hoosier hospitality. (It’s true. Google us.)So, we’re rolling out the red carpet at our historic hotels — complete with legendary golf, exceptional dining and relaxing resort amenities — for a well earned getaway after your historic run.Who knows? You might even find yourself having one of those “I’m really not thinking about the next game … I’m thinking about cracking open a beer” moments.Call it a Hail Mary, but as you’ve said yourself: “Sometimes you have to be bold and arrogant to show your team you have confidence in them.”
Consider this our bold move, Coach. We’re just down the road from Bloomington and waiting for you to call the next play."

Hoosier Brewery Also Offering Cignetti An Awesome Gift
After IU beat Oregon in the Peach Bowl, Coach Cignetti said the only thing he was thinking about was cracking open a cold one. According to reports, Cignetti orders beer by referring to its ABV (alcohol by volume), which is hilarious to me. His go-to beer of choice? Indiana's own, Upland Brewery, and their 4.7% concoction known as Hoosier Gameday Lager. After just one mention of the brew and the national title now in Bloomington, Upland Brewery has pledged to give Coach Cignetti free beer for life. Even though Coach Cignetti will probably never have to pay for a beer ever again (at least not in the state of Indiana), all the freebies are well worth the amazing Coach we have at Indiana University.
