Chris Janson is one of the hottest acts in Country Music these days. Asked to join the Grand Ole Opry by his friend, Keith Urban, and inducted by the one and only Garth Brooks in 2018, the singer-songwriter has become well known for his high energy performances. His motor is constantly running a full throttle during a show. So much so, People magazine said in story last February he "should come with his own surge protector," while the Tennessean said he "must've shot out of a canon from side stage" when describing his CMA Fest performance last June. Fortunately, we get the chance to see if for ourselves when he brings that energy to the Owensboro Convention Center Saturday night.

Before making his way to the Tri-State, Chris was nice enough to take a few minutes to speak with us about how he approaches a performance, how he feels about being an Opry member, and how he keeps the business of being Chris Janson in the family through the help of his wife, Kelly.

Check out our complete interview with Chris below, and get your tickets for his show Saturday night at Owensboro Tickets.
