Boonville Family In Dire Need Of Help

Imagine one of the greatest moments of your life...having a baby. Then imagine finding out your newborn has the life-threatening infection known as bacterial meningitis. It's not something any parent or family wants to even think about. However, it's the reality that Don and Brianna Fussner of Chandler are currently living. Their beautiful son, Creed Fussner, is four months old today and, unfortunately, fighting the biggest battle of his little life. A little over a week ago, the Fussners found out their baby boy had bacterial meningitis, an infection that causes the membranes around the spinal cord and brain to swell severely. No matter how you cut it, this infection is a medical emergency that requires immediate attention, or the results could lead to permanent brain damage, hearing loss, learning disabilities, and even death. Creed had excessive fluid and swelling on his brain, which led to surgery to drain and relieve pressure. Unfortunately, he is still battling seizures and remains in critical care at Riley Children's Hospital at IU Health. Creed's battle is just beginning, and his family needs all the help they can get to make it through this and be with their son.

How To Help Creed And The Fussner Family

The Fussners' life has been completely flipped upside down. Missing work, commuting to and from the hospital, taking care of their other children, and trying to do this all while their new baby fights for his life, it's a challenge all on its own.
