According to several sources, Peyton Manning has chosen the 'mile high city' to be his new home with the Denver Broncos. Various media outlets are reporting a deal between Manning and the Broncos where Hall of Fame QB John Elway is in charge of football operations. Manning narrowed his choices to the Broncos, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers after ruling out the Miami Dolphins.

On March 6, in a press conference with Colts owner Jim Irsay, Peyton Manning's time in Indianapolis officially came to an end, making Manning an unrestricted free agent. Manning took the Colts to two Super Bowls, winning one of them and losing the other.

Manning is coming off several neck surgeries that kept the four-time NFL MVP on the sidelines for the entire 2011 season in which the Colts went 2-14. The Colts did however wind up with the number one pick in the upcoming NFL draft and are expected to take QB Andrew Luck out of Stanford. This is a breaking story with more details to follow.
