Homegrown Tree Service Doing Good For Tri-State

DJ Tree Service is a local business doing wonderful things for our community. Born and raised in the tri-state, owner Donnie Jackson started the company six years ago on Evansville's Northwest side. Licensed and insured, the business offers the following services: Tree trimming and removal, excavating, pipe installation, clearing, and storm damage. According to Jackson, who is pictured below, they have also removed more cats from trees than they can count.

Howell Park is Now Safe and Cleaned Up, More Parks To Go

Aside from their everyday duties of removing those pesky trees that fall, this crew has been doing extra work to help clean up our parks. In fact, DJ Tree Service is the only tree company in Evansville to adopt a park and maintain it! Recently, the crew provided their services to help restore Howell Park so children can actually play. They trimmed and removed 33 trees for safety and cleanliness. Fun fact: for every tree in the city's parks that has to be removed, the Evansville Parks Department ensures that two trees are planted in its place. Starting October 10, the crew also began removing 45 trees at Garvin Park to help ensure public safety.

DJ Tree Service is a proud sponsor of Reitz football and Golfmoor baseball, among many other local sports leagues. You'll also find the business sponsoring several youth programs and parks. Local businesses like this are the lifeblood of our children's recreational activities. Without safe and thriving parks, these programs would not be able to function.
