According to a new survey, the world is a much happier place than it was just four years ago. The happiest people in the world seem to be Indonesians and Mexicans. This might be surprising news considering the wars, natural disasters and very tough economic times for a lot of us here and abroad. Latin America ranked as the happiest followed by North America, Asia - Pacific, the Middle-East and Africa.

The number one reason for the global happiness seems to be relationships with married couples on average being happier than singles. Men are as content as women according to the survey.

Education and age were also factors with people under the age of 35 being happier than those in the 25-49 age group. Considering the state of the world right now, this is actually some good news as it seems people are more focused on their lives and getting the most out of what they have.
