Annual Vanderburgh County Homeless Connect Event on March 16th

The 9th annual Vanderburgh Homeless Connect event is happening this Thursday, March 16th. It's a free, one-day event that offers help to those who are homeless or nearly homeless.

This really is an amazing event that could be truly lifesaving for so many. It's open to ANYONE that would like to attend, whether you are taking advantage of the services or if you just want to learn more about the event.

Vanderburgh Homeless Connect has one goal...for you to get the help you need on one day, at one stop, and for free!

This year's Homeless Connect event is from 9am-2pm at Old National Events Plaza and provides the following services:

• Credit Checks
• Birth certificate
• Job-Finding help
• Tax preparation
• Parent resources
• Veterans services
• Health screenings
• Education services
• Childcare referrals
• Financial assistance
• Relationship resources
• Foreclosure mitigation
• Public assistance applications
• Utility bill consultation
• Re-entry services
• Recovery groups
• Internet access
• Hair cuts
• Lunch
