What is Vanderburgh County CASA?

You might first be interested in knowing what this organization is, if you don't already know about the work they do in Vanderburgh County. According to the Vanderburgh County CASA website:

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate, which to us simply means to be a friend to a child during a very difficult time in their life.

As a CASA volunteer we do everything in our power to ensure our little friend feels safe, loved, and supported. We want each child’s little hearts to be filled with hope and joy knowing we truly care about them and their future.

Sadly, in Vanderburgh County there are more children walking this difficult path alone because we simply do not have enough volunteers.

Right now, there is a local child who is likely walking a scary and confusing journey and would love for you to walk along side them. Please consider changing the life of a child by becoming a CASA volunteer.

While being a volunteer is one of the best ways you can help CASA achieve their mission of helping children in the communities, there are some other ways you can help Vanderburgh County CASA. They are always hosting fundraising events throughout the year that you can get involved in to support the organization.
