The American Red Cross has opened a shelter in Newburgh at the American Legion at Highway 261 and Sharon Road . This is also a location where photos / belongings can be dropped off if you are in the area and find something that may have blown away in the storm. Volunteers are assisting first responders , surveying the damage and meeting with the homeowners affected to best determine what help is needed.

Those wanting to help now, can make financial contributions online at www.tristateredcross.org. Financial contributions can be turned into shelter, food, clothing or more as the need changes in our community.
