5K On The Runway For Joshua Academy Is September 3rd

This seems to be the season for walks and runs for great causes, but here's a unique one you may want to be a part of.  It's the 5K On The Runway for Joshua Academy Charter School in Evansville.  The 5K will be held on the runway of Evansville Regional Airport on Saturday September 3rd at 7am.  The proceeds fro the event benefit Joshua Academy, which is proud to carry that mission statement:

"To provide a nurturing learning environment that allows children to uniquely develop into well-rounded individuals who can reach their fullest potential.  Joshua Academy serves children through a curriculum that is conducive to all learning styles.  Joshua Academy strives to provide a high-quality educational experience, that is similar to that of other private schools, to children who would otherwise not be able to afford such an experience"

The 5K On The Runway will loop around the airport then finish with a straight shot down the runway.  It should be a great September morning as you run or walk while the sun comes up and the planes take off.  Best of all, is that the event helps with quality education of the Joshua Academy.  Register and find out more info at runway5k.com
