5 Virtual Field Trips You Can Take With Your Kids Now
After it was announced that schools would be closing, for two or three weeks due to the coronavirus outbreak, you were probably wondering how you're going manage, support and help with your child's virtual school work. Not only that but, probably a little worried about how you will keep them from going completely stir crazy while at home all day and night.
While at home, take them on a virtual field trip. It's great. You can go so many educational places without having to leave your house. The cool thing is, you will FEEL like you left home. But, you go to some of the most amazing places in the world and beyond. Here are some of the places I found.
- San Diego Zoo - a tour just for kids with amazing videos, activities, and games.
- Polar Bears in the frozen Tundra - learning experiences with polar bears in their natural habitat.
- Explore the surface of Mars - on the Curiosity Rover.
- The Louvre - travel to Paris, France to see amazing works of art.
- Great Wall of China - see one of the wonders of the world that makes history come to life.
