More Free Stage Concerts Announced for 2023 Indiana State Fair

The 2023 Indiana State Fair runs from Friday, July 28th through Sunday, August 20th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Along with all of the yummy food, rides, food, exhibits, and food, there is a bunch of great entertainment to see. I'm talking about entertainment that people would gladly pay a bunch of money to see, except at the Indiana State Fair, it's free.

Hoosier Lottery Free Stage

Your paid admission into the Indiana State Fair allows you to see some really amazing musicians performing on the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage. Fair officials recently announced the first wave of acts this summer:

• Clint Black on Friday, July 28th
• Peppa Pig Live! Peppa Pig’s Adventure on Sunday, July 30th
• Keith Sweat on Wednesday, August 2nd
• TobyMac on Sunday, August 6th
• THE TAYLOR PARTY: TAYLOR SWIFT NIGHT on Saturday, August 12th
• Buddy Guy: Damn Right Farewell on Friday, August 18th

This country a cappella group has been captivating audiences with their unique sound with live performances since 2007. As the winners of the fourth season of NBC’s The Sing Off, they released their first major album Crazy Life in 2014 and have been releasing original music since, their most recent album, So Long Dixie was released in November 2022.

Retro Rewind 90’s Night featuring DJ Kurt Streblow | Thursday, August 3

DJ Kurt Streblow always brings the party and is one of Indy’s favorite DJs. He is also the in-house DJ and Host for the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.

STYX | Friday, August 4

Known for classic rock staples like “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” and “Renegade.” Styx has remained active both in the studio and the road, releasing their latest album Crash of the Crown in 2021.

Gin Blossoms | Friday, August 11

Gin Blossoms dominated radio and MTV playlists throughout the 90s with hits such as "Hey Jealousy," “Allison Road,” “Found Out About You,” and “Til I Hear It From You." They have sold over 10 million records and remain a high-demand, fan-favorite live band.

Happy Together Tour 2023 | Wednesday, August 16

The Happy Together Tour 2023 consists of six acts: The Turtles, Little Anthony, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Classics IV, The Vogues and The Cowsills. These artists had their biggest hits in the 60s and 70s - timeless sounds and songs like “Happy Together” by the Turtles.

Gospel Music Festival featuring CeCe Winans | Sunday, August 20

Gospel superstar CeCe Winans is one of the most accomplished women in modern music and is the most-awarded female gospel artist of all time. She has taken home twelve GRAMMY Awards, 20 Dove Awards, and seven Stellar Awards. She’s sold more than 5 million albums in the US and topped Gospel, Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary charts.
