The CPKC Holiday Train has announced its 2025 season, and it will pass through several Indiana towns.

What is the CPKC Holiday Train?

The CPKC Holiday Train is an annual tradition since 1999 that features a train that trours Canada and the United States. Now, this train is adorned with a ton of holiday lights that make it look unlike any other train that you see on the tracks. The train will make several stops along its tour, spreading cheer with live concerts from the brightly decorated train's stage. This year's lineup features several well-known artists. You can take a look at who will be performing in 2025 by clicking here.

However, the really cool thing about the CPKC Holiday Train is that each year, the tour raises money, food, and awareness to support food banks across the United States and Canada.  CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation. Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the United States, according to its website.

Will the CPKC Holiday Train Make a Stop in Indiana in 2025?

Unfortunately, the CPKC Holiday Train will not be making an actual stop in Indiana in 2025. However, that doesn't mean that you won't be able to catch it at all in the Hoosier State. This year, it would appear that the Holiday Train is going to pass through several towns in northern Indiana VERY EARLY in the morning of Sunday, November 23rd.

The CPKC's Holiday Train tracker lets you see where the Holiday Train is on its journey. The tracker will be live once the Holiday Train program is underway. So, you'll be able to get a very detailed timeline of when the train will be passing through various parts of Indiana. For now, though, you can take a look at the post below to get an idea of the areas of Indiana that will be able to catch the train passing by.

Again, this train is truly a sight to see, so if you find yourself in the path of the Holiday Train, you should definatley check it out! You can learn more and stay up to date with the CPKC Holiday Train by clicking here.
