2017 SMILE Mile Coming Up October 7th At Vanderburgh 4-H Fairgrounds

Formerly known as the Buddy Walk, the SMILE Mile is quickly approaching October 7th in celebration of National Down Syndrome Awareness Month and in promotion of the acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.

This one mile walk will take place on the grounds of the Vanderburgh 4-H Fairgrounds on October 7th with registration beginning at 9am. Following the walk, there will be plenty to do with food, entertainment, activities for kids, an opportunity for team photos, and information tables for the adults. The money raised goes to support the goals of S.M.I.L.E. on Down Syndrome, serving not only hundreds of local families with family members with Down Syndrome but families facing other disabilities as well.
