Charity Ride To Take Place Before Toby Keith’s Indianapolis Concert
As we’ve been telling you at WKDQ, Toby Keith will bring his Locked and Loaded Tour to Verizon Wireless Music Center just outside of Indianapolis on October 1st. Before the concert takes place, there will be a special motorcycle ride for a great cause.
Join ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) of Indiana and Live Nation for their annual benefit ride to enjoy an night with country superstar, Toby Keith, at Verizon Wireless Music Center on Saturday, October 1st while benefiting Hoosier Burn Camp. All motorcyclists are invited to join this organized ride for an evening of music with the “Made in America” original, Toby Keith, on his “Locked & Loaded Tour”, with special guests Eric Church and JT Hodges.
This special ride will leave from Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis (4146 East 96th Street, Indianapolis) at 3:30 p.m. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. All participants will receive a commemorative embroidered patch and rocker for this year’s ride, and be entered to win a VIP concert prize pack and a chance to meet Toby Keith!
Cost is only $10 per person* with all proceeds benefitting ABATE of Indiana’s 2011 state charity, the Hoosier Burn Camp, a summer camp for young men and women who have experienced injuries from burns. For more information about the Hoosier Burn Camp, please visit www.hoosierburncamp.org.

Tri-State Gives Moore Mediathon Raises $26,000 For Red Cross
A partnership between Eyewitness News, Townsquare Media, and the Evansville Courier and Press have made a big impact with the Red Cross. Wednesday from 6am-6pm, all the media outlets pooled their efforts to raise funds for victims of the Moore, OK tornado victims and with the help of Tri-State donors, we were able to raise $26,016 just in phone-in donations.
