Leslie’s Daily To-Do’s – Love on My Mother-in-Law and Bob Eubanks [VIDEO]

To me, EVERY day is a reason to celebrate!!! Every morning on the show, I break the celebrating down for you by telling you 'Today is...' Here is how I plan on celebrating TODAY!!!

Today is......

Mother-in-Law Day -  As you most of you know, I have been married twice. And, both times I had the two BEST Mother-in-Laws EVER!!

My current Mother-in-Law, Pat, is incredible. I remember how scared I was of her reaction to my age. After all, Quenton, had never been married and was only 32 at the time. I was 43. Understand now?

I tried very hard to avoid the conversation that would lead to my age. But, during one of our early, kitchen bar, conversations, it came up. She asked me the ages of my three kids. I thought...OH CRAP!!!! You would like to think that Q would have already softened the blow BEFORE this moment, but NO!! So, I told her.....17, 13 and 7. She said nothing and just looked at me for a moment. I said, "I'm 43." After, what seemed like forever, she smiled at me and asked me the names of my children.

She didn't care! She didn't judge me. She liked me and THAT was all that mattered.

Since then, she has always been there for me. My own mother lives 3 hrs away so Pat's love, understanding and helpful nature made me feel safe, at home and loved in a strange place.

TV Talk Show Host Day - My favorite TV Talk Show Host of all time would have to be Bob Eubanks! The Newlywed Game is the best game show EVER. Bob was the only host who could handle the risque subjest matter with such calmness. AWESOME!! Here is The Newlywed Games version of 'baking cookies.' CLASSIC!! HILARIOUS!!!
