This past weekend, myself and Baby Boy Brian visited Memphis for the annual St. Jude Country Cares Seminar.  Take a look at some of the pictures from our tours.

One of the many things I got to witness at this year's St. Jude Country Cares Seminar was a very well-deserved recognition for an artist who set records in raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My quest to raise money for St. Jude through No Shave November was a success.  Thanks to all who contributed, we raised over $450 for St. Jude!  So this morning, I looked at my so-so beard and reluctantly decided to shave it.

Here it is...as shaggy as I will get.  My No Shave November for St. Jude was pretty successful, but I'm still about a hundred bucks short of my goal.

We are at day 18 in this month long quest to be a mountain man for cancer!  No Shave November is my way to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My quest to grow a beard for the entire month of November has been seen by many as just that.  I guess I need to be more clear (especially to my co-workers in the office) that this stubble on my face is so much more than just for fun.

Well folks, we're one week into stubble city. I am not shaving my face for the whole month of November...not only to prove I can grow a beard, but to raise awareness and funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I've heard the trend is sweeping the country for "No Shave November."  I got the idea for it from a former co-worker in Bowling Green who is not shaving for the entire month of November in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital...

Darren Warren is a new artist in country music in some people's eyes, but in mine, he's a friend I've know for a long time.  We share a lot of interests.   We've shared a stage singing some karaoke together.  We've shared a couple nights by a bonfire with cold beverages in hand.  Heck, we even share a birthday

We at WKDQ would like to thank all who played golf at Midget Links on Saturday, and to those who just came by to donate.  Over $400 was raised for the kids of St. Jude.  We had a lot of fun at the inagural "Putt Fore Life" and we hope to do it again next year...
