Father's Day is right around the corner and has always been a bitter-sweet day for me since I lost my dad in 2002. Being a father myself is the greatest reward of my life even though I am nowhere near as good a dad as mine was, but I never stop trying to be as good as he would want me to be.

By now you've seen a thousand versions of the song 'Let It Go' from 'Frozen,' but this one might be the cleverest. Any mom will recognize this mom's troubles.

In what had become an inevitability at this point with the insanely rising box office numbers, Disney's smash hit animated film 'Frozen' has now become the highest grossing animated film of all time, usurping former crown holder 'Toy Story 3,' which held the title since 2010. And judging by these numbers and the love for the film, it doesn't look like 'Frozen' is going to "Let It Go" so

The weekend following a major holiday is always a little slow. The boost from vacationing moviegoers is gone, so everyone tends to take a major dip. Some films end up okay. Some die on the vine. This weekend saw two films weather the storm perfectly fine and one new release collapse on the starting line.
