A recently produced commercial by gun manufacturer Daniel Defense for the upcoming Super Bowl has been rejected by FOX and will not air. The spot is a 60-second commercial basically promoting gun ownership for protection purposes.

During a very rare press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, George Strait announced he will stop touring at the end of 2014. The final tour will be called 'The Cowboy Rides Away', which ironically was a song that did not go to number 1 - it peaked at number 5 on the charts in 1985.
