New Social Security Scam Happening In The Tri-State

The Tri-State Better Business Bureau and Evansville Police Department has issued a warning to Tri-State residents about a Social Security scam that has been reported several times here.

Of course, it is never a good idea to give out your personal information to people you don't know, especially over the phone and if they are using threats of arrest. That's not something that the police or social security administration would do. If you get a phone call saying that you may be arrested and asking for your personal information to clear your record, this is 100% a scam!
