Horror Con 2024

It's no secret that horror movies rarely get the recognition they deserve from mainstream pop culture, but it's safe to say fans of horror showed up and showed that the horror-loving community is alive and well in Evansville! Back in March was the first Horror Con in Evansville, and it was so successful that it has already outgrown its first location (more about that here)!

Of course, you can't have a horror convention without celebrity guests, and 2024 is already shaping up to have quite the list of celebrities joining!

Halloween

In 1978 when John Carpenter's Halloween first came out, it's hard to deny the impact the film had on horror films' popularity, specifically the slasher genre. It's been said that John Carpenter's Halloween ushered in the golden age for slasher films.  Of course, you can't have Halloween without the infamous slasher, Michael Myers. One of the actors who portrayed the infamous Michael Myers in 1978 will be in Evansville
for Horror Con 2024!

Tony Moran Heading to Horror Con

Over the years there have been more than a dozen films created within the Halloween franchise, and one of the actors that portrayed Michael Myers will soon be stopping by Evansville. Tony Moran was in the original Halloween and when Michaels's mask gets removed, Tony's face is the face you see.  Are you freaking out?  Because I'm totally freaking out!
