Meet Napoleon, our Pet of the Week from the Vanderburgh Humane Society.

Napoleon's Story

9-year-old Napoleon was living a good life with his owner until his owner had to surrender him to the VHS when they became too ill to care for him which I imagine was a tough decision to make. Despite the temporary change in homes, the VHS says Napoleon has adapted well to living in its cageless cat room at the shelter. He enjoys playing with his roommates, and he has a history of getting along well with kids and dogs. He's a laid-back dude who "will be your shadow, but is mature enough to not be overbearing," according to the VHS.

His $80 adoption fee covers everything all adoption fees at the VHS cover; his neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchipping. You can get a jump on the adoption process for Buddy or any of the animals you might be interested in at the VHS by filling out some of the paperwork in advance on the VHS website.
