Too Early for Halloween?

Halloween has been a popular holiday for years, but it seems like here recently we are really seeing Halloween's popularity just skyrocket.  In fact, there are several memes on the internet that declare the "Halloween season" starts on July 5th.  Now for me personally, Halloween is a 24/7/365 kinda thing, but I understand that's not for everyone.  However I do love a good themed party, and this sounds like a theme party that's right up my alley!

Christmas Halloween in July

We've all heard of Christmas in July, but what about Halloween in July?  Well in my opinion it's never too early to start planning your epic Halloween party, or DIY costume.  It seems more stores are hopping on board the Halloween in the summertime trend by putting out Halloween decor (I call it home decor, but to each their own) earlier each year.  Two Kentucky-based Halloween-themed stores are teaming up to host a special Halloween in July event.

Ghostly Productions and TD's Tuff Decisions are both quirky stores located in Owensboro, Kentucky.  The two stores decided to come together and celebrate their love of spooky season, by celebrating Halloween in July.

The event will take place on July 29th from noon to 5 PM and will feature everything from a costume contest to trick or treating.

Join your oldest and newest Halloween stores for the 2nd annual Halloween in July! If spooky season is your “most wonderful time of the year” then this event is for you! TD’s Tuff Decisions and Ghostly Productions will be hosting trick or treating, and costume contests! Prizes will be given to the best dressed! Be there, or be scared!

For all of the event information, you can check out the Halloween in July Facebook event page, here.  If this isn't enough Halloween for you, Ghostly Productions is also going to host one of the actors who portrayed Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 in October, you can check out more about that, here.
