99.5 WKDQ is excited to announce that Kane Brown will be returning to Evansville next year.

We are finally seeing a lot more concerts being announced since all of them were shut down due to the pandemic. Recently, we have seen such stars as George Strait, Eric Church, Reba, and Brooks & Dunn make their way to the Ford Center, and the concerts don't stop there. Later this year, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, and Cody Johnson will bring their respective tours to the Ford Center. However, the concert announcements keep coming. We have yet another HUGE show coming to Evansville that we know you won't want to miss.

Kane Brown Coming to the Ford Center

The last time we saw Kane Brown in Evansville, Indiana was on May 9th, 2019. He came in as a part of Jason Aldean’s Ride All Night Tour. Since then, his fame has skyrocketed. Releasing hit after hit, Kane Brown has become one of the biggest names in country music today.

That's why we are all beyond excited that Kane Brown will be returning to the Ford Center in Evansville in 2023, as a part of his Drunk or Dreaming Tour.

Who's Coming with Kane Brown to the Ford Center in 2023?

Kane Brown will be bringing along with him a few of his buddies to Evansville. The first of which will be Dustin Lynch. Lynch broke onto the country music scene in 2012 with his debut single, "Cowboys and Angels" and ever since he has released eight singles that have topped the charts at number one.

Also coming to Evansville as a part of the Drunk or Dreaming Tour will be another act that is no stranger to the area, LOCASH. The duo was last in Evansville in 2018, so we are excited to see them making their return as well!

See How Downtown Evansville Has Changed Over the Years

I find looking back on the way things used to be fascinating. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'm living through the current time period. The conveniences of answering any question we have in seconds, or ordering practically anything we want or need and having it delivered to our doorstep is pretty sweet. But, there is something fun about seeing how things around us have evolved. As an Evansville native, and spending quite a bit of my time in downtown Evansville (that's where the station is located), I've always appreciated the older architecture of the buildings around the area. So, I dug into the Willard Library Archives to see how a few of those areas look now compared to then. Some have changed a little, others quite a bit, and a few don't even exist any more. Take a look.
