I'm not even someone who likes beer, but I always enjoy trying new things, and I enjoy a beer-tasting experience occasionally. My husband and I love checking out local breweries and tasting different brews, and by doing this I've actually found a couple (emphasis on a couple) of beers I like. This beer-tasting event that French Lick Scenic Railway is hosting, is hands down the most unique beer-tasting experience I've ever heard of.

French Lick Scenic Railway

Located in French Lick, Indiana is the French Lick Scenic Railway. The French Lick Scenic Railway is actually a museum, however not in the traditional sense. They offer all kinds of unique excursions aboard the railway, everything from dinosaur excursions, to wild west excursions, to an adults-only bourbon trip, and of course, you can't forget the main event, the annual Polar Express train ride. This excursion, however, is a first for French Lick which will soon be hosting it's first-ever beer-tasting train ride.

Imagine riding on a train through a gorgeous Southern Indiana Spring countryside sipping on a cold beer and eating some delicious food that was expertly paired with that brew. Sounds pretty great, right? Well, that dream can be a reality. French Lick Scenic Railway announced its first-ever beer-tasting train ride.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 6th.

Once you're settled into your seat, get ready for a journey through the beautiful countryside of French Lick. As the train chugs along the rails, you will have the opportunity to sip and savor four different brews, each carefully selected to showcase the best flavors and aromas. But that's not all - to complement your tasting experience, each brew will be paired with a savory or delectable food offering from a local caterer, adding an extra layer of indulgence to your adventure!
