Farmers’ Almanac is Predicting a Snowy, Stinging Winter

Since it's SO hot outside, let's get our minds off of the heat and talk about winter!! First of all, just let me say the outdoors is my favorite place to be. Whether it's winter, spring, summer or fall, I want to be outside. I just can't tolerate extremes. Normal is more my thing. HAHA! I know what you are thinking. You just did a spit take. OK, fine, let me correct; normal WEATHER is my thing. You know, normal temps, rain, snowfall, etc. Because of this, I always try and prepare myself ahead of time for what may come with the Farmers' Almanac. Not sure I like what the farmer has to say about this Winter.

Here are a few of the predictions that don't sit well with me.

"...will see below-normal temperatures for about three-quarters of the nation."

 

"Over the eastern third of the country, we are expecting an active storm track with a number of storms delivering copious amounts of snow and rain."

 

"We are “red flagging” the first 10 days of January and the first week of February..."

 

See what I mean!  But, like I always tell you when I deliver the weather every morning, "You can't blame the messenger."  ;-)
