Eric’s Lost Hit – Rick Trevino

It’s time to step back into the time machine once again for a lost hit that I, for one would love to have back.  Not just the song, but the artist too.  Rick Trevino had a string of hits in the mid 90′s like “She Can’t Say I Didn’t Cry,” but it was this trip back to high school, that had my toes tapping in 1995.  It’s almost a preview to many of Kenny Chesney’s ”I Go Back” type songs of the 2000′s.  Two things stand out about “Bobbie Ann Mason.”  1) That is the name a famous author from Kentucky.  2) In 1995 I was in 8th grade and sat behind my two buddies, Bobby and Mason…which was what I first thought the song was called.  Enjoy this week’s Lost Hit, and go back in time twice!
