Eric’s Lost Hit – George Jones ‘High Tech Redneck’

It's been a while since I've introduced a lost hit, but now more than ever it felt like the right time.  While George Jones had the bulk of his success before the mid 80's, the early 90's brought about somewhat of a resurgance, with songs like 'I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair' and this one, where George plays off the huge success of Terminator 2 with 'High Tech Redneck!'

He'll always be one of, if not THE most influential voices in country music and he'll be missed.
