Love and Theft’s Eric Gunderson Welcomes Baby Boy

Eric Gunderson of Love and Theft is a first-time father as his wife Emily gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday (March 10). Everyone is said to be doing well, but the couple won’t be at peace at home anytime soon, as the new arrival was born two months early and is in the NICU.
âEric and Emily are moved by the tremendous outpouring of warm wishes from their fans, family and country radio,â a representative for the band told People. âThey look forward to sharing more updates soon.â The baby’s name is Camden William. It’s the first child for the 28-year-old singer and his 26-year-old wife.
The couple revealed the pregnancy to Taste of Country in November, and one month later shared that it was a boy they were expecting. Camden was scheduled to arrive in May. No further details as to why he showed early were available at this time.
“He arrived earlier than his expected May due date and will be spending some time in the hospital, but mother, father and baby are all doing well,â the rep added.
The couple married in April 2010.
In a strange way, the early arrival works out for the duo. They’re set to join Tim McGraw on the road beginning in May.
