Stephen Barker Liles of Love and Theft will marry fiance Jenna Kennedy this August in Nashville. In a chat with Taste of Country, the singer opens up about his plans for the ceremony and reception, saying the 250-person party is smaller than he wanted.

Liles and Kennedy were engaged in May 2013. In December, they welcomed a son, Jett Barker Liles. The singer is excited for some time alone with his bride, but spills they won't be doing the big honeymoon until September. As for the wedding, he's relying on his boys.

"Eric and the band are paying for all the kegs of beer," Liles says, adding that Popcorn Sutton's White Whiskey Moonshine is sponsoring the rest of the booze.

The gifts -- including the dress, invitations and save the dates from David Tutera -- are appreciated by the young couple. "We're still in a place where, those were big expenses for us," Liles dishes. "We're moving into a house this year -- buying a house. For us, we're so grateful to him [Tutera] for that."

There may be a mini honeymoon shortly after the Aug. 24 wedding. Liles says he hates when the bride and groom just disappear, so they may go drinking with friends on lower Broadway before getting back to work. "We'll stay in Nashville the next day, because it's in Nashville."

The group's first scheduled date after the wedding is Aug. 29 in Panama City Beach, Fla.
