Last week I had the chance to talk to one of the most creative and passionate country artists out there.  Colt Ford has made appearances at Owensboro's Big O Music Fest every year but one, and he will be opening up for his good friends Florida Georgia Line this Friday at the Ford Center, as well as eating lunch with some generous fans.  Here's what we had to talk about.

Cesar Millan brings his live stage show to the Centre's Aiken Theater on November 23rd, and you can still purchase tickets.  In anticipation of this great show, I had a chance to talk to Cesar about his history with dogs and the show itself.

It was great to have Preston and Chris of the LoCash Cowboys on the phone to talk about and debut their new single, 'Best Seat In The House.'  Not only did they share the emotional way the song was written, but our listeners shared in the emotion after they heard the song.

It was another extremely fun, live broadcast backstage at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night, as stars like Hunter Hayes and Dierks Bentley rocked the stage.  Opry legends like Little Jimmy Dickens, Marty Stuart, and Connie Smith made surprise appearances.  Even the up and coming stars got their time to shine.  One of those stars, Dustin Lynch dropped in to talk to me for a bit.

Colt Ford is certainly one of the most unique country artists to come along in a while.  Whether you like his music or not, it is interesting to listen to his story of being in the music business and what he considers country.  And for those who say he's NOT country, he has a response to that as well.

I had a chance talk to my buddy Maggie Rose today as she is headed to the Tri-State for a special concert at Hawg N Sauce Friday night.  The concert is on and will be a great time rain or shine.
