‘Break Down Here’ Singer, Julie Roberts Tries Out For The Voice And Gets Rejected

Well, this is a sad situation.  If you remember the underrated tune from about 10 years ago, ‘Break Down Here,’ a song I’ve heard more at karaoke than on the radio, then you’ll remember the young artist who performed it, Julie Roberts.  Last night, she swallowed her pride and attempted to get back in the spotlight with a tryout on NBC’s ‘The Voice.’  It didn’t go well.

Singing Blake Shelton’s ‘God Gave Me You,’ she was less than stellar, and didn’t get any of the judges to turn around.  Harsh.

At least she can remember the days she went all the way to number 18 with this one.
