7th Annual Cans for the Community Food Drive

CAN you help? Here's how you CAN!  Donations of non-perishable food items are still needed this week throughout the tri-state area for the Evansville Rescue Mission and Henderson Christian Community Outreach.

WKDQ and Henderson Chevrolet Buick GMC are asking the community for canned goods and non-perishable food items to give to those less fortunate and in need of our help.  Since our food drive began earlier this month, the GFS in Evansville has filled over 3 grocery carts of food along with cash donationsI Last Friday, I was at GFS and had the chance to meet incoming patrons and some of the employees and manager at GFS. Thanks to everyone for your donations.  Let's keep filling up more shopping carts!

Today, (Tuesday, Nov. 10th) you can join Dave Fields from the Q crew from 5pm – 6pm at the GFS Marketplace, Burkhardt Rd., in Evansville.  Your donation of even 1 can (or more) would be greatly appreciated as we continue our pledge to fill up the back of a Chevy Silverado full of food for the needy.
