After 26 years I just noticed something in a scene of Liar Liar that I had never spotted before. Once you see it, you'll never see the movie the same again.

The 1997 comedy, Liar Liar, happens to be one of my favorites, if not my favorite, Jim Carrey movies aside from Dumb & Dumber. The movie has so many memorable funny moments and lines, as well as some heartfelt moments too. For those who haven't seen Liar Liar before, first off, you are missing out. However, I'll go ahead and give you a brief summary of what the movie is about. Jim Carrey plays a pathological liar-lawyer who is always breaking promises with his son. Until his son makes a wish on his birthday that for one day, his dad couldn't tell a lie...and it actually comes true. The hilariousness ensues when Jim Carrey's character physically can't tell a lie, which causes issues for him on a big court case, and could cost him his relationship with his son.

I have seen this movie so many times that I practically know it by heart. Or at least I thought I did.

Over the weekend, my girlfriend shared a TikTok with me that was a clip of Liar Liar with something that I had never noticed before. The video showed a scene at the airport toward the end of the movie where Jim Carrey was being put onto a stretcher with his ex-wife and son rushing to his side. However, there was something different about this clip. Something that I had never noticed before. In the background, you see Jim Carrey essentially dressed up like Fire Marshal Bill from In Living Color among the crowd of people. For those who don't know who Fire Marshal Bill is, well take a look:

Okay, so are we on the same page now? Good.

So, when I saw that TikTok video, I thought that it was fake because I had seen that movie so many times and had never noticed that before. Naturally, I turned on the movie to see for myself. Sure enough, there he was. Jim Carrey pulling a prank on everyone in the background. You can even see some of the extras around him trying not to laugh. Now that you know what to look for, it's so obvious. Check it out:

How, after 26 years am I just now noticing this?! If I didn't know about this clip, I'd be willing to bet that perhaps you didn't either. Having seen it finally, there's no way that I'd be able to watch this scene the same again.
