The Henderson Area Arts Alliance will be presenting a show based on the life of country music legend Patsy Cline, and we want to send you to the show.

The Henderson Area Arts Alliance's mission is to create a vibrant community by providing quality arts experiences for all. They do that each year with a variety of shows and performances at the Preston Arts Center on the Henderson Community College campus. This season, they have had quite a few great shows that appeal do different audiences. The final show of the 2024-2025 season is one that will appeal to the country music fanbase, as it is a tribute to honor the life of one of the biggest names in country music history, Patsy Cline.

According to the Henderson Area Arts Alliance website, this is what folks can expect from "Always...Patsy Cline":

Always… Patsy Cline, based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger comes complete with true emotion, down home country humor and, with 27 songs in the show, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams & Walking After Midnight. In 1961, Cline went to Houston for a show. Seger and her buddies, who had arrived 90 minutes early, met Cline who was traveling alone. The two women struck up a friendship that lasted until Cline’s untimely death in a plane crash in 1963. Always… Patsy Cline has enjoyed great success both off-Broadway and on tour.

"Always...Patsy Cline" will be held at the Preston Arts Center in Henderson on April 26th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are still available online by clicking here.

Patsy Cline's former "dream home" in Nashville is for sale, and pictures show a piece of country music history. The 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,770-square-foot house in a Nashville suburb comes with an asking price of $549,900, and pictures show that it's been restored to the same condition it was in when it was first built in 1965.
