How would you like to take an animal outdoor adventure that includes hanging out with elephants, bears, kangaroos, and giraffes?  You can even zip-line and ride ATVs!

Wilstem Wildlife Park allows the public to experience giraffes, see the elephants, and pet several of the animals many of who are retired from the Ringling Brothers Circus.  If you plan your trip out you can even take the opportunity to bathe an elephant and feed the giraffes.

They have even added a new encounter with Wallabies:

Here are all the different animal encounters.  If up close and personal isn't for you they also have a Drive-thru safari.  You can visit bears, elephants, giraffes, wallabies, zebras, and many more.

I had no idea you could actually stay in the park until I did a little research last year during the pandemic.  They have multiple cabins available for rent throughout the year.  They have 11 cabins total and they range in size from perfect for a couple to bring your whole family.

If you have boys like our family keep in mind they have ATV guided tours. Our family loves taking to the woods to explore and this is just another added amenity.

Ziplining just happens to be on my bucket list.  Wilstem has over 5000 feet with a nine-line canopy tour.  Confession:  Chad and I actually rode the zipline at Legion Park and may have been responsible for its downfall.  I will not confirm or deny.
