Where the Weekend Begins in Western Kentucky! Friday After 5 Announces 2023 Lineup

Western Kentucky's top-rated summer event is back and bigger than ever. Friday After 5 is preparing for its 27th season with the Art of Music, historical events, and family fun. The epic season officially opens on May, 19th and we have the long-awaited lineup.

FRIDAY AFTER 5 CELEBRATES ITS 27TH SEASON IN OWENSBORO

Friday After 5 announced its upcoming summer lineup full of big names, new faces, and many surprises. As thousands ascend to Downtown Owensboro, Kroger is back with their popular street fair, Darrel and Michael Waltrip will make an appearance during Kentucky Motorsports Week, and popular musical acts like Fat Box, Velvet Bombers, Juice Box Heroes, and Caribou return. Gearheads will love the RiverCity Bike Show, the JEEPS and JAMZ Expo, and the Bluegrass Legends Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show. There truly is something for everyone at the Owensboro Riverfront!

"In a new, enhanced way, Visit Owensboro is collaborating with FA5 with our major groups in town. We wanted to create a visitor experience that's entertaining and unique, that can be our differentiator from other communities.", Mark Calitri, President of Visit Owensboro shared this morning.

WBKR is back as the media partner for the season and will once again bring Friday Night Fights to the FA5 stage on June 30th, 2023. It's your chance to win $1,000 and close out the entertainment on the Ruoff Party Stage on September 1st, 2023. Glenn's Gospel will bring Halleluiah Fridays to the Owensboro Riverfront and First Fridays makes a return to the backyard stage of the Bluegrass Museum. And, come hungry for the delicious food trucks that will line the riverfront. The excitement has been building for brand-new events and an exciting lineup of performers.
