What Is Country Music Made Of?
I'm sure you've heard the old sayings that little girls are made of sugar and spice; where boys are made of snails and puppy dog tails. So what is country music made up of?
Drinking to drink away the relationship, or to celebrate anything. Alcohol, cause, Alcohol.
Taking those trucks out on the dirt and back roads to do what ever you please cause most likely is summer or you wanna get muddy. Or go fish in the dark.
Don't forget about the dog! Unconditional love! Just like the song from Billy Currington, they wont get if you call their sister a name.
Oh, now you gotta have momma in there. She let her babies grow up to be cowboys and you don't hear a lot of songs back talking mom. She did put you on this earth, she can take you back out.
Lastly, you have some type of religion in there. Now, don't get me wrong, a lot of artists have done songs that show their faith and that's great. Some don't, and there is nothing wrong with that either way.
So! You have the basics, just add a dash of the love of the dog, add some momma in, heavy on the alcohol, sprinkle in some Jesus, and top it off with a truck! Your country music song. Always keeping in mind you can mix those elements how ever you wish!!!
